vera (nan) died 19th october 2006, aged 78.
all of my nans working life she cared for other elderly people. always putting them before herself.
my nan had alzhimers but died from an accident she had in the care home she lived at for the last
year of her life. my nan was a fighter and loved her own independance, she lived with my grandad
Albert before she needed to go into a home after she became more poorly. my grandad found it very
difficult as he had just come through a major op for cancer. they had 6 children, 3 girls and 3
boys. 1 of those girls being my mum bobbi. my mum did everything for my nan and grandad and i no how
much she misses her but at the same time glad she is no longer suffering.
i love u nan and miss you so much everyday. i wish you could have made it to see my wedding, but
because of that you sent us our beautiful gift of Rosie Alice, then you was there for her when she
stopped breathing and brought her back to this world.

well nan 3 years ago yesterday you were taken from us to a much more peaceful place, no more pain , no more confussion. you knew every1 and back to your usual self.
miss you so much nan, id give anything just to see you 1 more time .
rosie our gift from you is growing and exploring everything. she will always know her nan as does bailey.
hoping to go and see grandad next week and ill call in and see you.
when we were down a couple of weeks back rosie helped see to you grave and so did the boys.

happy birthday nan
just wanted to wish you a happy birthday for tomorrow nan.
i was ment to come and visit you today but i ended up needing to be at church for rosie with her christening 2 weeks away. im coming next weekend instead.
iv sent grandad an ivivte but i dont think he can make the long drive. i think he worries to much if he doesnt come. i knew he wouldnt i just dont like not sending him an invite.
ill be down to see you next weekend nan. missing you, thinking of you alot lately. rosie makes me think of you alot.

well on the way down to visit grandad on sunday the blumin car broke down,i was going to call in and put you some flowers down.
think grandad was a bit gutted as he had brought loads of things for the kids.
ill try and get down in 2 weeks time. hopefully the car will be fully sorted by then.

as im sure you know Rosie Alice was bornon the 24th Aug 2008 at 6.40am, weighing 7lb 9 1/2. she came alot quicker than we expected. shes beautiful. grandad told me of the name alice so we have given that as her middle name. i will post a picture of her for you.
its been heart renching not taking her to visit you. you were always 1 of the 1st ppl we visited after having my little ones. i will bring her to see you at the grave though. shes giving us a testing time at the moment trying to make us panic. the day she stopped breathing im sure you were there to make sure she was ok and kept her with us.
i miss you so much nan. coming up to 2 years. i cant believe how time has flown by.
